Has anyone else in the Destin, Fort Walton Beach , or Niceville Florida areas become an owner of a G8 besides me? Are yall keeping them garaged or what? Ive only seen one on the road before i purchased mine and none since.

Howz it going in LA? (Lower Alabama that is). I was stationed at Eglin in the late 70's. Wish I had never left. Best beaches on the Gulf coast!

Thats right the rednecks are only a stones throw away im waiting to see a G8 ruined by the clay roads up in crestview like this solstice that lives damn near on eglin just south the river off hwy 85. But thanks for serving for us, not military but grew up here and appreciate what you guys do. But i figured atleast some people in Destin would be picking up more of these cars but maybe they are still stuck on the BMW and Mercedes out that way. I actually live in Niceville but grew up in FWB. Hit me up if you come through. Most people end up moving back it seems.

Finally saw another G8 out side the Dealer lot white G8 in parking lot of Cigar Emporium in FWB on Beal PkwyStill no Sightings of one on the road in FWB Niceville or Destin Area. Maybe everyones waiting on the GXP? IDK i couldnt wait any longer.

Just Checking in here again for any 850 area G8s noticed the FWB lot is down to one GT so i should be seeing more. Wanted to get up with anybody and possibly get some type of meeting, compare, and share info thing going...The site is great but really want to see other G8s in person. Ive been to Panama City Breakaway 1/8 mile once and plan on going to the Holt Emerald coast 1/8th soon to test a Superchips Tuner. Also heard of a custom car meet out in Pcola on Saturday afternoons on nine mile near big lot parking lot anyone have info on this?

Bringing the thread back from the dead. Thanks for the invite to the car show at Uptown, I had a blast. Lee when you read this pm me your email addy and Duey's as well. I am gonna put together a list if the G8 owners and see if we can't get a meet started.

If you guys (and gals) are ever down here in Orlando, just let us know and we can always throw together a lunch meet-n-greet, or crash a local cruise-in. There is at least one cruise-in every Fri., Sat., and Sun. in Cent. FL. I went to 3 free events this weekend. Always something going on.

i got some family right outside of FWB and havnt been down there in a loooooooong time
i hated going through alabama and the swamp land and getting all the bugs on the cars when we went before, that was so bad it gives me the shakes just thinking about doing it with my g8 :p
