hey guys I've been watching this site since October but finally registered yesterday, I've been noticing alot of people have "ordered" there G8's already when you order do you have to put any $ down, and do all the paper work then and there?

I think that the people who have "ordered" so far have pre-ordered a 888 G8. All I did was tell the dealer what I wanted and he tagged it for me when it showed on the GM computer. I gave him the OK to charge me $1000 on a CC when he gets the invoice from Pontiac. I will go in and do paperwork when the invoice is in his hands so I can confirm what I'm getting.

I don't know if any dealers are accepting pre-orders or if any 888's are still available.

I'm probably not gonna get an 888. I'm going to send a nice litter to Pontiac, nothing bad; but me being a loyal customer, and coming from a family of GM buying people I'm going to acquire their assistance. They owe it to me; as their records show. ;)

But if I were you, I'd wait until it arrives. You don't want to show the any excitement factor unless you can afford to pay a little more. ;)
