I'm not too big on metallic in black, so I'm hoping a solid black comes back at some point.

geeezzz... ummm maybe back in the 80's? pretty sure the black on commodores has always been metallic (from what i can remember back to 1994 at least)

its not a real heavy metallic, same colour that was on the GTO, but yes, a non-metallic black would be awesome

I like the metallic flakes in the Holden paint. Both black & the midnight blue on my GTO. I suppose it's personal choice.

I like most metallic colors, just not black.

Assylum would know better than me, but I think in the 70's if at all. Black is not considered a 'base model' colour in Australia, so it was usually a premium offering.

Aside from the WM, the WB is one of my favourites and a classic. I don't recall seeing many in black.

Tuxedo Black Mk.2 (solid) is one colour from my *cough* early years.
