GM Holden has hired its second new managing director in 6 months, with current boss Chris Gubbey leaving Australia to take up a senior appointment with General Motors in Russia. Mr Gubbey, who joined Holden in August last year will be replaced by American Mark Reruss,44. Mr Reuss is presently based at GM Headquarters in the US city of Detroit, where he heads the firm's global vehicle systems and integration. Mr Gubbey will lead the push into the Russian market as GM Europe vice-president and managing director of GM Russia and the Commonwealth of Independant States.

I would say that the GXP will be his "baby" along with some final development of the Camaro (I get the feeling that a lot of the development of it is going on at Holden since it is Zeta based - note that on Holden's website under concept cars the Camaro is shown)
Anytime an admitted gearhead gets to the top it bodes well.
Oh, and since he was heavily involved with the Solstice maybe Oz will get to have at the very least the Opel GT.

It does look good so far.
I will breathe a sigh of relief if/when the Alpha architecture (Torana) is confirmed for development by Holden and not GMNA.
