The rear suspension of Holden’s VE Commdore is a multi-link (four-link) independent system with coil-over shock absorbers and decoupled stabiliser bar. It has high lateral stiffness for handling through three lateral ball joints per side with improved longitudinal compliance. A rubber isolated suspension frame isolates the body from road imperfections and drivetrain vibrations.

It looks like 3/4 of a double wishbone with a toe control rod, but I don't know for sure where the stabiliser bar is or how it is decoupled. I wish I had a view with Xray glasses or whatever through the floor of the trunk. This car ought to handle real nice.

So looking at the Pedder's parts list and the Ozzie mag, here is my best guess:

Link #1 of 4, red, lower control arm
Link #2 of 4, white, trailing arm
Link #3 of 4, blue, toe control rod
Link #4 of 4, yellow, upper control arm

brown is the suspension to chassis bolts I am pretty confident.

One or the other of the greens is the sway/anti-roll/stabliser bar, dunno which. But I do know my salesman at the dealership is going to piss his pants during the test drive. How did I do Pete?

Brandon is working on explosions for this vehicle. They will be similar to those we have for the LX.
