Thanks! It is well worth it for sure. I tell everyone start out with the Street 1 kit and just add as you go. The Street 1 is the best bang for the buck to get you started. Now if Track II is in the budget, DO IT!!
2ltrgsr 11-23-2008, 02:47 PM how many inches did it lower the car????..........thanks
PartsGedder 11-23-2008, 03:50 PM Looks Great! Welcome to the Pedders Nation.
GRRRR8 11-23-2008, 04:16 PM how many inches did it lower the car????..........thanks
About an inch in the rear and 1/4 in in the front.
Mr. Sandog 11-23-2008, 04:25 PM If possible, would like a review of the changes/improvements since the install. :)
GRRRR8 11-23-2008, 07:45 PM I can give you a review on the rear. I just have to do the front sway bar, frt lower control arm bushings and caster bushings and then it is 100%. All the wiggle, sway and movement in the rear is gone! The car leaves very well on hard launches. I will be really putting it to the test soon on some ET Streets and a 3600 stall when I do the cam and heads. Normal driving is a bit stiffer as it should be. Cornering is awesome!
Mr. Sandog 11-24-2008, 02:47 AM Thanks. How is the straight-line cruising, lolly-gagging around....stiff? Noisey? Kidney-thrashing?

Firmer, but not bad. A little bit more road noise, but not as bad as my Mach 1 that has all spherical bearings instead of bushings! lol
Overall I am impressed with their system. Fit, finish and quality are excellent. My wifes exact words were "it turns faster, I thought it would be all slammed and I am glad its not"
BMWHunter 11-24-2008, 10:05 AM Very impressive! The car definitely needs the rear tightened up. What part of the package produced the most improvement and why?
Also, just to confirm (Sport Package) are you running with 19's and what tire brand?

19s and Bridgestones. The rear is a HUGE difference. The X frame bushings and diff I would say are a must, but after doing every single bushing I can see how eliminating all the flex in the rear is why it is so stable and consistent. I can whip a corner and floor it at the same time, with the power I have the car would normally be all over the road, now it stays in the lane spins half as much and is straight during the accelerating.

Thank You!
G8GT721 11-27-2008, 06:47 PM looks good, how long was the install?

By the time I do the little stuff and alignment maybe 10 hrs.
Charlie, your impressions and mine of the Track II are in complete agreement.
If anyone wants to do it a bit at a time the X-member and diff bushes are a must have. Pete has said from the beginning that these are the low hanging fruit (best bang for the buck). After these think about the front radius rod bushes and caster correcters. These really help the feel and stability of the front end. With the caster washers the car track beautifully. I was surprised by the difference they made.

MLozano 02-19-2009, 08:02 PM I don't think it's very smart buying pedders little by little, that's alot of money wasted on labor and allignments.
MLozano 02-19-2009, 08:39 PM I don't mean him. Someone just suggested it was the biggest bang for your buck

The best money tou can spend is for the rear x-member bushes. Less than $300 and you can do it yourself.
MLozano 02-19-2009, 11:23 PM Where can i get? Is it part of the street I KIT?
EDIT:
Here's what's in the street I kit, can i install all of this myself?

pantherblack09 02-20-2009, 12:52 AM the rear cross member inserts you could do yourself, with a jack and basic tools
the other two bushing sets are a little more complicated
MLozano 02-20-2009, 02:33 AM Dammit, i really want the street II kit, price by it's self isn't too bad, but add installation and it's out of my reach, i don't even know anyone less than 400 miles from me that can install it.
