The Bottom Line
The Pontiac G8 GXP arrives at dealers in January. At $36,995 (before destination and gas-guzzler fees) the latest Pontaic G8 is a performance bargain compared to many of the hot European performance sedans. And best of all, this GXP should build back some credibility for Pontiac as GM's performance division.
Is this right? 36,995? What is the GGT going to be?
Shoot if GM has another bad year .. all i can say is let me upgrade!

No one knows pricing for sure. The video stated that price but we don't know what that price includes.

who cares as long as they keep it. call it the new impala for all I care as long as the name is the only thing that changes Im still in for the GXP/SS or whatever.

I think it was $1700 for the M6, $2200 for the A6.

I totally agree. They could call it the Turd Mobile and I'd still buy it. I'm not buying a name I'm buying a vehicle.

Upscale it and make it a Buick. Buick has no performance car. Chevy does. If it got rebadged as a Buick it may have a better chance of survival. It also may get it a higher quality interior...just a thought.

I actually rather like the Chevy front end on this car, so I wouldn't be disappointed to see it swap stables.

I read an article that said the GXP's will come in just under 41k. We'll see...
I imagine there will be some sort of mark up on the list price.

God that would be ugly! I think that would be the new reason they would kill buick is just to kill that ugly car! UGHHHH!
