I hope it's in my mailbox when I get home!!! :shiner:

Edit: Damnit, got my hopes up. We won't see that issue for another month since it's the April issue.

You've probably already seen this by now, but I don't see a link to it on here yet...

After the incredibly biased job C&D did (Jan '05) on the GTO vs. Mustang GT, (which drew howls of justified criticism by the way), I no longer read or subscribe to C&D. I used to love their car enthusiast attitude, but they lost me in '05. I hope they redeemed themselves on the G8, but someone else will have to let me know.

Car and Driver had a decent assesment of the G8 GT.

Motortrend was really good.

Edmunds was really good.

And Popular Mechanics really liked it.

I thought the Car and Driver review seemed pretty reasonable. I'd have to see and drive a G8 before really being able to argue some of their points, but from the things you can see in pictures it sounds about right.

The G8 seems like a great car, especially for the money, but it's clearly not absolute perfection in all categories.

Absolute perfection is reserved for hand built cars that cost hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars, hehe... and theyre still not perfect. :)

So I'm not concerned with imperfections; since the odds are that I either won't notice them, pay any mind to them....

Or at a certain age, have the car long enough to find them all???:oldfogey:
