: GXP YES/NO heads up display???

Looking to get a GXP in later 09. I have tried searching on this forum to see if pontiac will put a HUD in the gxp. I could not find answer yes or no or why.
I have the hud in my 99 gtp, one of the best options/features on the car. I was hoping with ten years of newer tech that it will be included with the gxp. Does anybody have info on the hud?

Great technology, bad part is that the G8 is made in australia alongside the car it is derived from, and HUD was never offered in that vehicle. Maybe if GM decides to produce the G8 in the USA, then HUD may become an option. I hope so. But for now the only vehicle you're going to see HUD in, besides several caddys and the vette, is the GMC Acadia(unless im mistaken).
I must say, that fine looking DIC does take some of the pain away from lack of HUD though...

davefr 12-04-2008, 05:53 PM HUD in the GP was a good idea but bad implementation. Stealth mode should have doused all other indicators except for the HUD - however it didn't. (ex: the high/low headlight LED that would blind you)

Hopefully not. Love the sound of the kooks on a gt, can't wait to hear it on a gxp, but with some resonators installed.
The torque on my 99 gtp is sick... I hope the curve on the gxp is just as instantaneous...

I would bet the TQ curve will be just if not more instant. Plus it will throw you back into the seat more than a GTP ever could. What did you have done to your gtp? Mine was pretty heavily modded (306whp--xp cam, togs etc..)..
