Wow, great price. This is amazing but scary (scary for me in case I have to sell in the next 2 years!!). I cant believe these things have dropped so much. I almost wish I would have waited and bought a used one like this, but I've had too much fun this year to regret buying it.

The big price drop makes me wish that I'd kept my Vette. I should never have traded it for the G8.

The dealer who is selling the car with approx 12k miles for $20k being referenced in this thread (Lambert) is very shady, and the car is an ex-rental, look at vehicle history on the ebay page. I almost bought a new 08GT from them but decided not to go through with it because they wanted to back-date the purchase 2 weeks for better GM incentives. When there is smoke there is usually fire.

Besides the vast majority of the used G8s being sold by dealers right now with 10-15k miles are either rentals, or demos, or company cars. Most of the G8s I have seen on Manheim has some sort of exterior damage as well which has probably been repainted by the time the dealer puts it up for sale. You can kill a car is much less than 12k miles, and I think it's worth it in the long run to know the car's history and that it has been well taken care of. Besides, this is one of cheapest G8s around.

Indeed, but on the converse there's a 100K powertrain warranty regardless of how hard it was driven. Wish I could find me a cheap G8 with a bad front bumper.
