Well before getting into to much detail I am not sure if my tune came through correctly. I am hoping that somebody from your shop could PM me so I could talk to them about the specifics of my tune. After going to the track last night it is opposite of what I expected. Thanks in advance for your help.

Lewdag86, I'm also a little concerned about the ECM tune that I recently got from Vector. I emailed Kirk earlier this week, but have not received a response yet. I'm assuming he's busy, but I too would like to find out a way to make sure that the tune that I uploaded was the modified tune.

I know that the TCM tune worked because the shifts are drastically different, but the gains at the strip didn't seem to be what was expected. Basically, I only gained barely over a tenth, when another owner I raced saw a gain of three tenths with his VMS tune.

I hope they reply to you and to me to make sure that all is okay with our tunes.

I'm on the same boat as you guys. I talked to kirk, on the phone, last week. After i got off the dyno, i was more than dissatisfied with my performance. He had me get some fuel trim readings and i shot him another email with results.

If you call the shop during working hours, you might get him. Also, if you call and leave a message with your number, he will most likely call you back. I'm gonna call him again on monday.

If you used the vms website 'contact us' email form and you have an email client with a spam filter, make sure you check ur spam. i got a response the next day and it was in my spam folder.

Hmm, this certainly sounds odd. Another reason I'm wondering if the ECM program that I loaded is correct is that my mileage has not improved at all compared to prior to the tune. With my same daily commute, the average calculated mileage per tank has remained the same.

I'm fairly sure I loaded the modified program that was emailed to me, but I really wanted to find out if there is a way to confirm from the car that it is, in fact, the modified program.

Well I think my engine tune might have been fine but my shifts are completely different and not is a crisp or smooth engaging way. Weird to explain but it has lots of hesitation now and then clunks into gear which does not feel right. With almost the exact same weather conditions I lost 2mph in the quarter with my best launch to date and running the car the coldest its ever been. I haven't had a chance to talk to someone from vector yet being as its the weekend but I would like to speak with the person that did my tune and go over it very specifically to see if I was misunderstanding what I paid for

Hmm, it does sound like our issues are different. The tranny shifts are so much firmer than before. The shifts come with authority. :)

Try calling Kirk to work out your tune issues. I know Kirk is busy working on stuff, and a phone call will get you a response much faster. I've always left a message if they didn't answer.

Being behind a couple different time zones I was planning on calling Kirk this morning. Didn't have to he got a hold of me first. I can't say how happy I am with their service. I spoke with him on the phone in length about what was going on with my car. He has addressed all of my concerns and I am just going to go on record as saying I have nothing but respect for Kirk and his company. They truly are committed to customer service.

Awesome! A lot of us feel the same way about Kirk. Another reason why sme of us come to this forum, to support Vector, even though we spend most of our time on Charlies site.
