Is the steering wheel on the G8 as big as a Grand Prix steering wheel or did they down size it?

I think it's going to be awhile before people realize that the G8 has more incommon with the GTO than the Grand Prix.

I think PMD was referring to how much closer the G8 is to the GTO because they have the same mother(HOLDEN). Same blood there.........Grand Prix is a cousin.
The steering wheel isn't a steal off the GTO.........it's just the same diameter.

Point I was making here was that GM uses from previous models all the time in the USA, no reason they shouldn't with the Holdens too! A good supplier is a good supplier. Not a "steal" per se, just reuse of a type or style that "worked" for them.
