I am trying to decide on which tune to go with. I've seen people are getting great results from the VMS 93 octane tune. But I'm in So Cal where 93 octane gas is not available. I was wondering if anybody has dyno results for a VMS 91 tune.

I don't have dyno results, but we have some drag strip results. Here goes....

Back in November, my car was bone stock and Scott's sport red G8 GT had just the VMS tune (though I'm not 100% sure if it was for the 91 or 93 since Scott also takes this car cross country). During our runs, he consistently beat me by three tenths and three MPH.

So, logic sort of says that the tune alone is worth something. Buoyed by this, I got my VMS 91 tune before Thanksgiving and we got another set of runs earlier this month. Unfortunately, I only saw a gain of just over a tenth and two MPH. I am waiting to talk to Kirk to find out if something may be wrong.

Scott has the 93 tune. I must say the 93 tune is pretty hot.
