I found this video on you tube from Pittsburgh Auto show they had a nice blue G8 GT it looks great.
I would definitely want this color.

Tagline says Harrisburg. It just finished a week ago. Pittsburgh is at end of April.

Why doesn't GM give us a list of shows where teh cars will be? I cannot order until I get my wife to sit in one, or at least see it in person. Utah was too far, Harrisburg was close enough. Pittsburgh I can get to, but by April there will be sold units on the street.

I am sorry yes it was Harrisburg P.A. As for the purchase, same with me I cannot order the car until I test drive it. Right now I have an 05 Grand Prix and I am afraid that I wont like the way G8 drives. Saturday I went to a local dealer and he gave me a price quote 400 over invoice which is really good compared to other places I went that wanted sticker price.

I wonder how "true" the camera's capture of that blue is, in the video...
Looks 'purple-er' than I had expected.
But it is labelled a GT - and I had heard only 'regular' G8s
had been built with that color...
I wonder if they are now building G8 GTs in this color as well...

Blue GTs, Ray, not yet, at least not released for tagging, just the same 6 stripped V6's. Now we don't know for sure that zero GTs were in the color, just when we all figured out how to locate by color none were/are listed.

It is pretty purple. I have seen a couploe of K-Pow coloured vehicles now and it's not really something I'd pick...but I drive a station wagon:p

I loved my purple GTO, but not that blue.

With a color like that Binky or Winky would be a better spokes model :) Thankfully I don't think the color is accurate because of how the orange and red lenses appear.

Sorry, but that color makes the G8 look like an Easter M&M. It's a "different" color for sure, and will be very rare, but it's certainly not "desireable" by any means. Bring on the new true blue in '09, that will be sexy. Hopefully they come out with a deeper darker blue as well, like the darker blue they had on the newer GPs or MBM from the GTOs.
