Since we now know that XM & Bluetooth will be available on the 2009 model, will there be XM & Bluetooth retrofits for those of us who choose to be 'early adopters'?

As long as the dash opening does not change you should be able to purchase through parts a 2009 radio. you may or may not have to upgrade the antenna, the OnStar blade should be sufficient if the wiring harness has a correct plug.

It may take care of both. The STS (only car so far from GM to offer Bluetooth and Onstar) contained the Bluetooth within the radio instead of a separate module. Not likely this is what happened with the G8, but it may be.
