I've had the car almost 9 months and no races until...
I'm crusing down the interstate at aboout 70, 3 lanes wide, a little traffic, I notice a Mustang GT weaving through traffic behind me and he gets right behind me. I notice the right lane clear so I give it a little gas and pass the cars and a huge stretch of pavement opens ahead, I get to 80 passing the traffic, Mustang follows, I get over to the center lane, the Mustang is in the right lane and punches it right beside me, I knock it over the sport mode, floor it, and start pulling away like its nothing, leaving the Stang in my mirror.:)Finally a race and an easy win, I'm loving my car and call up my counsin's fiance, a Stang GT owner, and rub it in his face.
No races in 9 months and just a week later I'm again crusing along down the interstate at 70-75, minding my own business, when a C5 Vette gets beside me and starts pacing me, enticing me. I'm thinking I'm about to lose but should be close enough to be fun, we punch it and I start pulling, having about a car length on him getting close to the speed limiter so I let off, very happy.
My car is absolutely bone stock.
These cars are incredible!!! :)
My cousin's fiance has an 05 Stang GT, 5spd manual, intake, headers, exhaust, gears, computer reprogrammed...all the bolt-ons...said he lost to a G8 and wants a good race with me...if it happens I'll post up.
