Am I the only one who likes the larger single outlets of the base better than the smaller looking dual/duals on the GT?

I like the single pipe as well.

But i will live with it. I dont think there is an option.. to exchange them.

I like dual/dual. The first time I saw them, I smiled because they reminded me of E55/63 AMGs.

My Bonne GXP had the quad tips too. Too busy, so when I put magnaflow's on it, I went with two larger double walled tips, one for each side.

i think it looks retarded with just one big pipe coming out both sides. My TA had dual/dual and looked so much better then people with single pipe on both sides

my gmpp kit has the 2 large singles. I think I like 4, but I can go either way.

The dual/duals always remind me of the dual tips the hot hatch & minitruck crowd used to run before they invented the even goofier 3-4” wide grapefruit launchers. I even saw a couple triples and maybe a quad before fad ended. Unfortunately, on the G8 GT’s the panel cutouts for the exhaust are too wide to look right with a single pipe and I don’t care nearly enough to change it.

I can go either way.

If I go with the G8 Sedan I might switch the tips out for the ones I have on my Grand Prix.

I am with you, the quads are just for looks, no additional purpose. My Z06 has Corsas on it with 2 4 inch tips, instead of those quads that come from one bigger pipe on each side and Y into quads at the end just behind the tips. Hopefully Corsa's system will offer dual tips as an option and I can change to that. The Brownings know I like mine with 2 tips!

I'm running twin 3" exhaust with single 3.5" pipes out the back of the magnaflow mufflers...
