lol, you are hooked! I predict a 12.73 for you. Also it depends what drag radials you have. The nitto nto5rs i have are not hooking there. But I do not want to spend the 500 for the hoosiers just yet.
got my car back. all the vibrations are gone! the phantom 40 horsepower lost is back! freakin flex plate had broken and finally it just exploded. now i have one problem with the 4000 vs. 3600 stall. even with the nitto drag radials on the street i just go up in smoke! i need to save 5 bones and get the 315 35 17 hoosiers. so i will be there. but even with some narly burnouts i have a feeling i am just going to go up in smoke.

Hell yea man, can't wait to see it go!! I almost bought an pbm A6 gxp because I love to drag, but I love how fun the M6 is on the streets, even if the M6 is slower. Haa.
Yea California is to far spread out. You can drive to any city within phx within an hour. So cal not so much . Took me 3 hours to drive from Anaheim to San Diego once.
I am still getting some vibration on full acceleration. I am putting the ati damper in next week. I will be there. But I still think she is not running well. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in Tucson or Phoenix that has a specialty in vibration diagnosis>
This all started when I exploded the carrier bearing. It was a traumatic event. Replaced to a camaro diff, g force axles, dealer put in new driveshaft, new flex plate and a re flash and clean of the converter.
i am thinking maybe the input shaft of the tranni was hurt. nothing visible. but it does not need to show visibly.
we stay at the wildhorse pass resort once a year. do not do the hotel and casino. adult orientated. the resort has a boat that takes you to rawhide. the pool has a waterslide if operational this time of the year. you can either take the freeway or five minutes away near mcdonalds you can take 54th street up to the main drag of chandler blvd.
i may be there. i just ran a scan for misfires with hp tuners. only a couple at idle which is normal with a cam. so i know the internals of the engine are not the problem.
Well, I'm hoping it cools off a little by the end of the week. We almost hit 90 degrees this past weekend. That's insane for late November!! Who's going for sure?
it will be warm. but not 90. it will be close to 80 at start time. we are running 10 degrees over normal. i just hope they prep the track. there is no way i am going to get traction with 3.27s, a 4k stall, and some old nittos. i will still be there.
I think you will be okay. Maybe not your best, but I'm sure you will 60 all of us. Haa. You're right though, it will be warm, and that may hurt us a little.
Hey Rhett im planning on being there friday hopefully will be running the impala if my new shifter cable comes in time! My wife will probably even be spanking my a$$ in her audi haha
Pretty much a bone stock ls1 minus the emissions junk. The car is still a bit of a project but it moves pretty well im hoping for sub 14 sec runs. The tires are dry too so ill probably just go up in smoke off the line. Its actually posted here in cars for sale you can check it out
I should be there by or before 8. The Imp has ALOT of work done to it. I may have to keep it... unfortunately it seems like everyone that has called so far just wants to put 26's on it and couldn't care less what's under the hood:bs: The trans is stock but it was in the GTO as well so should handle this motor fine. If I end up keeping it my plans will be a T56 swap and turbo LS, mini tub, and some fat 17&18 staggered wheels, fix the interior and maybe two tone the car like this...sorry for the crappy paint program photoshop haha it just gives an idea
I have to say, I like the charcoal and black, maybe add a thin red pinstripe in-between both colors? If you do sell it, I hope it goes to a real enthusiast and not some pimped out wannabe "baller". I eventually want to convert my Syclone to a single turbo LS setup and keep the AWD. Drool!!!

I will be there early. I still have booster seats for my girls in the back seat and I am in my 50s! 7 and 9 yr. old gals. I tried to soften my drag radials tonight. But they are not going to hold. Maybe I will peddle her and if I hook at 40 mph I can say I could of gone two tenths faster.
Im looking forward to seeing you break into the 12s! The impala still needs tuning badly I took her out today and flogged her a bit I have a nasty little misfire right off idle not sure what that is but I will probably bring it anyways haha
Yea, I was out test driving on the DRs. They feel pretty good. But we all know the track is a completely different animal
