Car is getting a “Buford cam” installed right now. Heads will get worked out a bit as well. Goal is 650-670rwhp through E85 and “stock like” idle.
Also, it’s racing season in Las Vegas, I plan to click off a few quarter mile passes at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and go to Spring Mountain Raceway and put it on some 911s and ZR1s."

Thanks guys! I have to also give big thanks to the GM Holden Import Crew for their continued support in the Vegas valley! Best bunch of G8/GTO guys in the free world!

If you guys want to submit your car to LSXTV, they would love to see some more G8 submitted to them. Cliff who wrote my article thinks more G8s would be a great thing. Just to show how much support this car and the G8 community received, I had over 2,000 likes on 2 facebook posts over 1 week and if you are not familiar with facebook, that is some of the highest likes numbers I have seen on LSXTV facebook and they have amazing articles run through there.

wher were those pix taken looks familiar seems like the gold coast casino parking lot
Aliante Station roof top in North LV. Had to "manuever" the car around some pesky cones to get up there. In the process of getting the cam installed and plan on getting some good automotive shots in the near future

it's good to finally see badass cars winning GOTM rather than scenery photos with a g8 in them.

I tend to agree with you. It's frustrating to see a G8 with rims and a DSLR photo shoot win G8 of the Month. For me, the car has to perform before all else. Secondly, the car has to look appeasing. Photoshopped work is a big turn off for me because you can change too much about the car and make it look like a cartoon.

Congrats Buford. Way to represent GMHIC and Vegas! I would enter mine again, but I don't have any good scenery or rolling shots of my car. Plus my G8 is pretty riced out and never wins anything except for personal awards I create myself or when I ride VegasNate's coat tails!!!

Yes, I did name drop VegasNate. I actually got to meet him in person! One of the best days of my life. He was like a G8 God that magically appeared from thin air. I'll never wash my cheek again!! :err:
