Default Headers for V6

Looking into getting headers either doug thorley, JBA headers, pacesetter long tubes. they sell them for the camaro V6 but not for the G8 V6, i have a few questions:

1) Will the camaro headers bolt up to the G8 set up?

2) would i need to have the car tuned after getting them installed? really don't want a tune becasue i still have warranty

3) Will i get a CEL code?

Right now I have my resonators deleted with straight pipes installed, and I'm going with stainless steel magnaflows in the next 2 weeks.

thanks

You can get V6 Camaro Headers, you will need to extend the Bank 1 O2 Sensors, you will need High Flow Cats, and you will have no CEL light

Tune is def. recommended, you can remove the tune before sending the car to the dealer!

I really wish someone in the Raleigh NC area had a setup on their V6 with headers and full exhaust, I was always curious as to how it would sound in person. To me the base exhaust system was a little raspy especially at high RPMs. Glad though there are members out there doing their thing to the V6 especially since they were forgotten and abandoned by the aftermarket world.

Just cut your old wiring from the O2 sensors and solder about a foot of electical wire to make it extended and reconnect it and all is well
