Default Wife spun out - She's okay but the G8 has some damage.

So the wife spun out on the way to work today... She says it's still driveable so it should just be cosmetic.

State Farm says I can take it where I want to get it fixed. Anyone have places they could recommend for a quick fix? Around the Roseville area?

Thanks everyone... I'm gonna take it into a Collex Collision place t'morrow morning. They offer a lifetime warranty on their work, loaners (if available) and you can check the progress on your car with some update page thing. Deffinitely going to write down the mileage before I hand over the keys... debating about picking up a cheap digital recorder too in light of the Camaro incident recently.

Maybe I'll just say I've put a data logger in the car?

I have had my G8 fixed at Autometrics Collision onTen Mile in Centerline. I HIGHLY recommend them! Ask around about their rep.

My nephew is a phenomenal body guy and has made a name for himself in the industry. His place is a bit far from me and he is always slammed with work and I would have to wait too long, so I asked who he advised. He said Autometrics, which I liked hearing sine I was already thinking of them. I do not regret it one bit. I am at 12 and Schoenherr and would be glad to show you my car. I sideswiped some mailboxes avoiding an incident once, my wife backed into a guard rail once, and I hit a retread on the freeway once. Car looks great. I wouldn't mind just having them repaint my whole car.

Collision Collision just south of 16 mile on grosebeck has always done great work for my family. They have done 3 of our cars over the years and the work has always been top notch.

I'm surprised I have never seen your G8 when we live in the same exact area.

You should at least consider using one of the shops on State Farm's program. They have to abide by their guidelines and State Farm will at least be able to put the hammer down if they do you dirty on the repairs. Just a thought..

Another vote for Autometric. They are the best high end body shop in the area. If your insurance will pay for anywhere, they stand above the rest.

At the end of the day, it's just a car. Glad to hear your wife is ok. This is fortunately a very easy fix. Looks like a bumper cover and a respray, plus a grind and buff on your exhaust tip.
