Default spark plug gap for tr6

hi, i am going to change my plugs on my g8, i only have vararam intake and long tube headers. i am going to try some tr6 cuz off all the heat from the headers, what would be a good gap to start with? thanks.

Fwiw - running headers has no real effect on combustion temps...ie, unless you're switching aspiration types or fiddling w/boost levels a spark plug temp range change isn't really necessary...but you'll be safe w/a 1mm gap, ~40 thousandths.

I also run tr6p plugs.

and i agree, gapped at .040

hey yeti i think a saw your g8 at the car meet @ fremont they had on june nice looking g8 btw i was looking for a hot white before i got mine.

I was out at one event in Fremont. I rolled in with the Maro Boyz that night. There was two other white G8's out there but they were pretty stockish, and probably not as fast

yeah one was a gt and the other was a gxp, that was the first gxp i ever seen in person lol.
