Question Pypes Violator and X Pipe

Has anyone installed the Pypes Violator axle back mufflers and replaced mid muffler with X-Pipe? How loud is exhaust with this set-up and does it reduce drone?

First off welcome. As for your post, yes, it's been done, it will be loud and pypes will drone. I suspect x pipe won't help much at all, even a muffled one. Exhaust tone / drone etc is a personal preference.

BTW, using the search on this page found 30 different treads with the string "pypes violator", several likely have sound clips.... have a look.

My ex car owner had this set up with Kooks Mids - Kooks HFC - Magnaflow Tru-x and Pypes. She said her family celebrated the day she changed them out. Pretty loud I must say....

No it does not reduce drone. You need J-Pipe.

Welcome to the board.
