As I read through the various documents I can't help but wonder, wouldn't it be easier to use actually pictures in the figures instead of those somewhat crappy drawings? I would think it would be easier and cheaper to use pictures than have someone draw up the pictures.

Pictures would sometimes be better, but considering the format these shop manuals came from, printing full pictures is not quite possible, even in monochrome.

If mediafire could host files large enough for the DVD's for the online GM service manual I'd put those up there as well.

fwiw, there is a dvd from 2009 that has the dealer manuals from 87 to 2009 for all GM vehicles. google drcustomparts not free, but it would be nice to have running on local machine rather than web

Not associated in any way, just sharing options
