Default Fast LSX vs LS6 intake

so is there any reason why people put LS6 intakes on there cars instead of a FAST LSX?? is that pretty much the same intake?

ummmmmmmmmm

ls6 is cathedral port it will not fit on G8's...

LSX isnt a manifold its refering to either LSX blocks or LSX as a Whole (LS1 to LS9)
LSXR is a manifold....

hope this helps

Fast has a few different style intakes that seem to work well with the LS motors... LSX, LSXR and LSXRT.. I know the LSX and LSXR are car styles and the LSXRT is for a Truck/SUV.

I think the reason so many decide to not go with Fast may be for price.

You'll be wasting a lot of money putting a FAST 102 on a bolt-on L76 engine. Gains are around 3-5rwhp. That's a lot of dough and fitment issues for so little gain. Rick's intake is a much better solution.

Email Rick Crawford: LS-4-Speed@nc.rr.com for pricing of his modified intake. It is the ****. And Rick is great to do business with, you won't be disappointed!

This picture will give you an idea of why the LS6 intake manifold wont work on our L76. Out intake is basically the same intake as the LS3.
