If you search Fayetteville for 1/5/13 you should find vids of the CTS-V upclose.

I added a 90 elbow to put a bigger filter on the car and closer to the cooler air....well that really hurt me at the track and couldn't best a 11.7. I switch back to the stock spectre filter and it dropped to 11.6s, 11.5s, then 11.4s. Crazy how adding a extra piece hurt so bad. thats why me and Troy were so close on our first run cause of that damn thing lol.

I would have never of guessed...... that Spectre is the smallest filter I have seen for an aftermarket G8 filter.

Sucks I was out of town and couldn't be at the track....Hopefully we'll get some more weekends with good air.

It stumped me too. I'm going to look for a bigger filter to sit in it's place instead of elbow and the huge filter. Wonder if that hurts Doug aswell.

What about bolt-on hub spacers, like the 19mm ones I have in the rear?

Aight Troy I am hitting the track tomorrow to see what it do!

DA should be in the Negatives and I have some brand new street tires. I don't think I will run anything below 12.05 but we will see how close I can come with the 20in rims on. My stall was delivered the other day so this may be my last stock stall run. I'm racing at a track that I historically run pretty slow on due to head winds, but maybe the track gods will be on my side...

Right on, keep us updated!

Which stall did you go with? Tranny cooler and deeper pan as well?

I've been eyeing a circle d triple disk 2600...

Thanks man. I'll post in another thread my runs but I did get another PB Just not an 11sec slip.

I went with a single disk 2600 258mm circle d stall. Considering today all of my 60fts were 1.87-1.90 on street tires I don't think I need much of a stall to get great 60s...

I am having a cooler installed but I'm skipping the deeper pan as I don't think I need it right now.

If you heat treat those street ties with hot lap you could probably get a nasty 60' once you add the stall.
