Default Big Seahawks fan, but didn't want to see a win that way...

I was really hoping for a tough fought football game with a healthy RG3 and RW. Feel bad for the Redskin fans, I hope he's healthy by next year and we see a regular season game.

He's young and it's only a partial tear. We'll see him starting game 1 of the '13 season.

On a Seahawks note, I think it's a great win. Down by 14 early, didn't fall apart like so many teams would and held it together. The defense really stepped up from second quarter on.

I say, good on Seattle for getting their first playoff road win in 25 years.

I'm a big Seahawks fan too, and i'll take a win anyway we can get it. I'm originally from the Seattle area and now live in Packers country. I still hear pissing and moaning about the questionable game winning "simultaneous catch" from earlier this season. A win is a win. Yeah you always hate to see a player get hurt, but RG3s injury had nothing to do with the Redskins defense not getting it done. On a side note, I was disappointed to hear Chris Clemons tore his ACL. That's a big loss on defense.

Go Hawks!

RGIII should never have taken the field he wasn't cleared to play by his doc, the coach should lose his job.

Clemons getting hurt is a little scary but I'm hoping our team will step up and fill his shoes.

Yeah the Green Bay game... lol I still get in debates about that and the arguments always start from their opinions instead of debating what the rule book says. In the end, Green Bay should have knocked the ball out of the air, not try to catch it. If there was any mistake, that was surely it. Look at what Baldwin did against the Redskins... he knocked it out of their hands preventing an interception.

In any rate, I'm looking forward to the Falcons game, I think our team is better suited to beat them than any team in the league.

Problem is that its a tear in the same acl that he tore in college. Hopefully Shanahan doesn't make the mistake of bringing him back early yet again. A little disgusted at the whole thing last night. I was more concerned with Griffin's health than the win.

Hopefully he recovers, he has a very bright future.

OK, I admit it, I've been a Redskins fan since 1979. Seahawks played a better game they deserve the win. Wasn't expecting them to really make the SB or anything but yeah he should not have played. You really shouldn't be risking the future of the franchise when they had a good performance from the backup the couple of times he's played this year. Youth certainly helps with recovery. I'm in my 40's and still feeling the ruptured patella tendon I had repaired a couple of years ago. I just hope he's able to come back (whenever that is) at 100% and able to play for a long time. They certainly need him and Alfred Morris.

Yeah that was a bit disappointing. I have no idea why they kept him in after they got up 14-0

Unfortunately I think you'll be seeing the demise of the "mobile QB" in the NFL before the phenomenon really even gets underway...and for good reason, unless they change the rules even more it just doesn't work. RGIII is already damaged goods and he just (barely) completed his rookie season. You HAVE to stay in the pocket 90% of the time in today's NFL - yes you CAN make plays, but you will inevitably get injured and you won't win championships w/ that style of play.

Sacrificing your best offensive player for the possibility of a decent play action or option game sounds great on paper until that players starts getting dinged up per usual in the NFL and has lost a step or so toward then middle/end of the season and starts getting LIT UP - concussed, and eventually tears their knee or shoulder up....

Yep, that is what makes me worried about Russell Wilson... but the O-line let's too many through too often, so a mobile QB may actually keep him healthy.

The difference is, Russell Wilson usually slides instead of heading brute force into an in coming block.

Everything I've read about RGIII indicates he's intelligent and a natural leader. You'd think the guy would learn how to slide...

ACL surgery is 9-12 months for recovery. Superman RGIII probably will play in the second half of next NFL season, if at all. At this point, look for him in the 2014 season, as a much wiser, more cautious quarterback.

I wanted to see Wilson beat RG3 in a fair battle. :-)
