Congrats on your purchase. Don't let the mileage worry you one bit - these cars are heavy duty and meant to be driven, if cared for they will last a long time. I'm currently @ 102,000 miles and have zero issues, car dynoed the #'s in my sig @ 98,500 miles on a notoriously stingy local mustang dyno.

That is a great color combo by the way, I wish I had the red/black combo interior as the black on black on black tends to get dreary over time.

Good luck!

Details... Details... Did ya cut her loose on the way home ? How many times in triple digits ? I know you couldn't resist. She looks sweet !!! Considering that most are black (V8's) or red (V6's). The white looks quite refreshing. Enjoy... Have fun, but don't get caught. Good luck.

It's a change for me because I always have black interior. The red is ok but I eventually want to go with a tan leather seats, like in the '10 camaros.

I originally wanted black and I was going to put bronze wheels on it with bronze bathurst stripes and tan seats. The murdered out look does get a bit dull sometimes. But it's nice to see every once in a while.

I cut loose a few time. No triple digits but I felt that power. Put a big smile on my face! Plus this is my first rear wheel drive car so oversteer scared the sh*t out of me at first. Sucky part of my drive home was driving through the mountain. Started snowing so speed wasn't priority.

It was hard to find a white one that was worth it. I found one close to me but it was in an accident. The other one was in Georgia, but by the time i called to check on it, it was gone. White Hot seems like its as rare as the Stealth Blue Metallic G8's. So this is my Moby Dick.

Kurosaki Ichigo? he's been the more prominent dude on the episodes I've seen... I'm guessing a Bleach character 'cause that's what your avatar reminds me of.

Your right! It is Ichigo, but it's the demon inside him that's all white

That's a good question. I know most people go with performance mods. But with me going from a car with only 150 hp to 360, I'm not all that pressed for go fast things. So to that end I going to upgrade the stero with the unit from JHP so i can have usb intergration. The whole aux things is just too low tech for me

Stealth blue was an '08 only color, as was IOM "Ignition Orange Metalic".

I think that's the one I was looking at as well! If it is they were wholesaling it and it was a pretty good deal, definitely was on my short list. On the carfax it looked like it had been into the dealer quite a few times for various suspension work, so I'm sure it has all of that taken care of. At first it worried me how many times they had the suspension looked at but after seeing the recalls on these cars it put my mind at ease a bit.

Congrats on the purchase! I'd like to get a G8 in white as well, but I'm looking for the best bargain with low miles in good condition, so exterior color may be taking a back seat.

I would say it's strange we were looking at the same one, but given the fact that the White Hots are so few and far in between I'm not suprised. And yea they were wholeselling it. Said that sports cars don't sell like that in the winter so they priced it low to sell fast. They were going to wait about 3 days to see if anyone was going to bite before sending it to auction. Guess I was the chump that bit!
I can understand how you feel about getting a good deal and putting color on the back seat. I almost didn't get this one due to the distance factor. But it was such a good deal I had to jump on it. I wish you luck on your search and hope you get the one that you want, and not have to settle.
