Default Chrome split-spokes

I found these locally from a guy that special ordered them before buying a G8... then backed out of buying the car. Not sure how rare but I have not seen anyone locally with them. I love both looks, Enjoy

I plan on placing winter tires on them and running the 20" Giovanna in the summer.

18"

Car sitting a bit high as it had just come off lift...

I think they are refinished rims from a V6....

Detroit Wheel & Tire is a very reputable place that can do this to any OEM rim up this way.

Forum member 'Monty' has these also. Actually, Monty has many sets of wheels and tires. LOL. Many of us have this wheel illness.

I love chrome Twinspoke V6 rims. Haven't saved up enough yet but have been contemplating the Permachrome black chrome effect on my rims. Lookin good. I saw a car locally to me with the chrome effect on their G8 rims, it looked great.

Be careful when mounting/unmounting tires... nothing takes away from the "look" of the chromed wheel than a careless minimum-wage tire shop employee who accidentally spins off the lug with the air gun and it contacts the face of the chrome. Youch.

Lookin good man, love the twinspokes.

You didn't mention ... is it "real" chrome, or is it Permachrome treatment, or is it something different altogether?

Mine are real chrome. I have a stock 6cyl wheel as a spare that I was going to have Permachrome to match but it was too expensive.

Monty - The chrome V6 wheels look awesome with your silver paint. If my photolink works here is a photo of my liquid red with the V6 chromes.

Fix your pics. I'd Like to see them on red.

I'd also like to see them on black.

Sorry - tried for 2 hours and I can't get a pic to get into my reply. I have read the "how to post a pic " in the Newb section but it just won't work for me. Let me know if you have any ideas.
