ya i saw your post about earlier about the parts but when you put up it was done and with proof of numbers i actually though it was done so was wandering what the set up was but now knowing it was a fake i guess ill have to wait to figure out. Good luck.

Default Interesting development....

Update.....Geoff and I had been talking during the Dyno Day this past Sat. and he wanted me to look at the stock headers.........amazingly, and quite surprising to us both, the stock headers actually had LARGER inlet openings vs. the header Geoff had originally wanted to use.

Now if you take a real close look at the pic, you will also notice the stockers actually open up a bit after the second collection point allowing for better flow than the other. Outlet openings are about identical.

So Geoff is going to use the stock headers instead of the other design. I never would have guessed that GM had got this bit correct......

To all of you that have used the stock headers, way to go!

now all you need to do is clean up the rust from the headers to make it look pretty for show

Great news. I bet they could be ported a bit too to get rid of any casting flash. Thats what the stock appearing drag guys do.

Wish we could go for that number, but with the stock configuration still being used, bottom and top end, drivetrain, etc. I think the 600 to 650 range is probably what I will see to maintain realiability.

Buford, there have been only 3 total pictures and one video in this entire 5-6 page thread. LOL..........

Geoff has started to take the car apart......... the fab and setup process has officially begun! More pics coming of fuel system setup by Squash Performance when it arrives....
