Hey everybody, decided to make a thread dedicated specifically to the TSW Nurburgrings. For everybody that posts, please also include the wheel size & width along with tire size & width. I went with the 20x8.5/9.5 setup with the fronts weighing 23 pounds and the rears weighing 24.7, which is pretty light when compared to other aftermarket wheels. Nitto Invos in the front 255/35/20 & rear 285/30/20.

19s are the safer bet. Still look good, and enough sidewall protection to prevent bent wheels. I learned the hard way that 255/35 and 285/30 isn't enough sidewall for most potholes.

I agree, that's why I went with 275/35. They are harder to fit because the od is bigger. I like it and I'm not afraid to cut/bend to get them not to rub. (They rub stock)

You guys are killing me. I am neck deep in my search for Winter Wheels and Tires and trying to find a decent looking Black 5 star wheel in an 18 (I have two almost brand new Blizzak LM60 H rated tires from my G37-S set up I can reuse) is next to impossible I was actually settled on the TSW Vortex in Hyper Silver and I would have RimPro paint them black, but they are discontinued now and the Rivage replaced them, but they don't flare out towards the wheel and look too narrow to me...plus they come in GLOSS black which I think is kinda cheesy vs. Matte or Gun Metal.

My GXP is white so I want either a Matte or Gun Metal type black and was dead set on a nice 5 Star, but man...some of these pics have me drooling....

^^^ Do you think theyd rub on 9.5 48mm offset? I've been really considering going 285/35

Where they are rubbing right now is on the plastic liner on the front. Directly in front of the tire when I turn sharp the tire is rubbing the plastic. I don't know how others have ran 20x9 camaro wheels with a 35 offset and not rubbed. It makes no sense to me. I plan on "clearancing" the plastic when I install my eibach springs in the near future.

I know this thread is old but here is my G8. Running Michelin SS 255/35 front and 295/30 rear. Wanted a little more sidewall protection and same diameter front & rear (27" tall). Hate it when the front tires look slightly taller than the rears. The 295s look beefy on 9.5" rims as well. Only had the very slightest bit of rub when turning into a driveway too hot. Didn't need to roll my fenders at all. Just lightly sanded rough edges of seam in wheel well. No problem after that. However, every car is different.

Looks great! I've had the privilege of seeing this car in person and although the pics look great, they never give the car it's proper justice. Looks even better in person! Oh and the corsa exhaust is orgasmic in person haha!

Have the Corsa on my GXP...Corsa to the LS3 6.2L is as Bassani is to a 3025.0 Mustang...HEAVEN. ;-)

My drag radials are 275s...can't remember the whole profile...but they clear the rear inner plastic by literally 2 c-hairs...and man do they look sick when on...makes the car look so mean.

Congrats to you pulling the trigger on the wider rubber...please keep us posted on if you get any rubbing.

When my OEM bridgestones wear out I would love to try a 275 all around...but I don't know if the OEM offset will support that...

Two weeks ago I ran over a 3 inch long bolt that went straight into the tire and cracked the barrel of my rear wheel  I'm debating on getting them fixed or selling and keeping my stock rims on

Thanks, man. I think your G8 wins in the sound department though. It definitely has an aggressive exhaust note.

20x8.5 +43 front, 20x9.5 +48 rear. List of mods is in the sig.
