I was reading about a new Camaro owner that had one and it broke and some of the pieces got sucked into the engine. I dont remember what the outcome was except that he was looking for a new engine.
Electric superchargers are a thing of the past, the newest ultra hi performance superchargers are actualy leaf blowers! Yes the second pic is of a Toro leaf blower mod.
I have read that for the power required to produce even small results you would need multiple back-up batteries which the car could not really charge under normal conditions on its own but would need to be plugged in. In other words no electric supercharger out there will work ever with a standard battery. im guessing the battery will likely be drained very quickly and that little fan will stop doing much at all fairly soon. for sustaining the kinda power your talkin you would need alot more electricicty and storage than you can easily and cheaply get into your car.
Go buy you a 4" boat bilge blower, if you want to try something they are only $30 or so. They are gonna work just as well as a $200 one, doubt if they will work at all, but, you'll save a couple hundred bucks. When I was racing polaris watercraft back in the 90's I used a bilge blower while I was at the starting line and that kept air moving into the plenum, but, thats a whole different animal and I switched it off after I left the starting line. Its not gonna work on a 6.0 engine. Save your money.

Not that I am speaking for 1GXP4ME, but I think what he was trying to say is that things like this pop on here all of the time. So we don't need name calling.
Next to exhaust threads, the "hey I found this cheap mod, will it work?" is the most abundant thread on here. Rule of thumb is: if sounds too good to be true, it is. I have yet to see or hear of any racer with one of these on their car, and I think all of that air being crammed into intake at a constant rate would cause some lean codes at idle. But hey, it's your car and no one on here can keep you from doing what you want with it. But remember, google is your friend and just a quick search will tell you it's designed to do little more than take your money.
