Year One
Saturday July 31st marks one year of ownership of my G8. I've racked up 8,200 miles so far and still smile everytime I get behind the wheel and press on that go pedal. The first rock chip was a b!tch but once I got the first one out of the way the others that followed didn't seem to sting quite as much. Oh, who am I kidding I still cringe everytime I find a new one.
Sure I've had a few minor issues this past year (Cd/radio replaced, driver's door striker plate replaced, and most recently the oil pan gasket replaced) but all the repairs were covered under warranty and I haven't had any repeat issues.
I still haven't invested in any real mods YET other than a GXP diffuser, a bunch of car care supplies, and a bottle of GM White Hot touch up paint. In year two I plan on Solo axlebacks at the very least, possibly a full catback. And I'm still debating on tint. CAI and a tune are on the wish list but I've gotta do something with this exhaust first.
All in all I am VERY happy with the car. The G8Board has been great as well. The amount of knowledge, advice, opinions, laughs, camraderie, etc is incredible and second to none IMO. I'm looking forward to many more years with the G8. Cheers!

One year July 31st for me also but I'm at 37076 after a trip yesterday. I've only had oil and and filters changed in that time. Other than the chips on the front, and tire noise I've had none of the common complains others have had. Hope your years are as trouble free.

I bought mine used so it had 26,000 on the clock already. Is an 09 and now is on 30,000. Is going to parked during the winter.

Congrats on 1 year! I'm goin on about 1-1/2 and love it just as much, if not more (due to a few mods), since the day I got it.

Had my 1st ownership anniversary last month and have around 12,500mi on it. I still love it! And yeah, the rock chips piss me off every time.
It hasn't missed a beat - knock on wood.

1.5 year anniversary here. Just rolled over 6000 miles. Got a daily driver for the commute and the G8 for after hours / weekends / good weather.
