Default Weather tech fitment?

I'm not 100% happy with the fitment. They are a very nice piece, and will get the job done, but I was expecting something a little more pliable that would conform to the floor board just a little tighter.
Again, nice piece, and best option out there, just expected a bit more for $100 floor liners.
Anyone else?

I feel the same way. Great piece, great quality. Just wish it fit a little better. I think we have the only carpet that Velcro doesn't stuck to lol.

Yeah, I'm sure we could come up with some type of clip system for the sides near the doors, as that is the real problem area.

I had considered tucking it under the sill trim.

Default Weather tech fitment?

Surface is slicker than I expected, more like hard plastic than rubber, but definitely better than typical mats.

Does anyone else have the bubble problem next to the gas peddle on the trans tunnel?

Mine fit great. A little relief by the driver door but never noticed it in the way

I have the Weather-Tech Digital Fit front and rear mats in mine and Love them! Also have the Pontiac Cargo Liner.

Purchased them after I shampoo'd the interior and they do an awesome job of keeping the dirt on the Mat, not the carpet

Wait until the weather gets warm. Leave them on the driveway on a hot summer day and let the sun get at them. Mine fit pretty well when I got them, but were better after they were "heat treated".

yeah I for sure thought the fitment would be better. I had ones on my last car and the fit was awesome. On the G8 its not as good. Wish Weathertech did a nicer job with the fitment, cause these are still the best mats around.

I just got out of a friends Mitsubishi with new floor liners ($200) They seemed to fit fine, but they sure did slide around alot.

I can only attest to the fronts since I don't have the rear set, but they fit beautifully. No slipping or shifting at all, reaches up high behind the pedals, and are ridiculously easy to clean. Multiple chicago winters and salt and my carpets underneath are flawless every spring when I take the weathertech out.

Love mine in this winter while clod out. Not 100% perfect but 99% for sure. Once it warms up I know they will relax and settle into place.

My fronts slide all over the place, very annoying to say the least. I did buy them used but can't believe it would make a difference.

I bought a used set and have no issues whatsoever with fitment. This thread is making me second guess myself though, so I might have to go out and have a look this morning. Definitely the best mats out there though, by far.
