3 in 1 Magnaflow

My Magnaflow 16887 exhaust with a center resonator was to quiet for my taste so I decided to replace the rear mufflers with the smaller 11366 Magnaflow mufflers. Instead of welding them into the system, I decided to flange the exhaust after the resonator and build a separate set of axle backs so that I could switch back to the stock mufflers if I wanted to. I like the sound level of the system with the 11366 mufflers for everyday driving, and this is the setup I run 95% of the time. For track use and cruising around during Hot August Nights, I built a set of straight pipes. With the straight pipes and the mid resonator its loud, not obnoxious, but I wouldn't recommend it for daily use. It only takes me 15 minutes to switch between the different axle backs.

I removed the clamps and welded all the slip joints.

The following were all taken with a fairly (ok, very) low end mic taped to the rear bumper. Exhaust is kooks 1 7/8s into solo mach with HF cats. All of these are after the DoD delete and with little Lunati so it's pretty loud.

Here's a bit of lope in the driveway

Here's a quick run up the street fairly shortly after install with only a rough tune in place

And here is a couple of laps around Mosport's (ok, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park's ) driver development track

Nate, is that the 3" solo option or the standard Mach set up? Sounds excellent.

Thanks guys, I've been really happy with it so far though I did the exhaust first and the cam second and the volume certainly went up a bit with the cam. May have to eventually quiet it down a little, perhaps add a pair of bullets in just to take a few DB out of it.

Morris, it's the 2 1/2" standard solo mach setup.

This is mine after fitting 1 7/8 xforce headers, free flow cats, and
magna flow 2 1/2 cat back.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VFd7qttGw4

Not long after this run, I removed rear mufflers for straight tail pipes similar to
SonOfThor above.
I'll try & get some vid up of new tail-pipes.
I tow mine to events so dont know what it would be like on the highway, but pretty
loud I would think.

Been listening to lots. I have a GXP. I am going with JBA shorty (in CA) and then Borla catback. Should sound amazing. What is worth anything? The GXP mufflers and thats it?

So my plan so far is 2 1/2 piping with a h-pipe and original flowmaster welded aluminum mufflers. Anybody here with anything close to this on their car? Or even just the H with non-stainless mufflers. I can't stand the sound of stainless.

Just completed my full Solo manifold-back exhaust the other day. Car has Solo high flow cats for a little while now but then I decided last week that I need MORE.

The cat-back is full 3" all the way (except the cat connections). I think it might actually be a G8 system technically.

I know its not a G8, but it should sound identical to a GXP with the same stuff.
