Pacesetter extensions...clamp or weld??

Hey guys, purchased my Pacesetters the other week and working up to the things I need to do to hook them up. I was curious if anyone on here has gotten the extensions used to hook up to factory/aftermarket catback welded on instead of using the clamps, I've used clamps like the ones with come with before have never had good luck with the sealing not to mention taking them on and off and having them get bent all to hell.
