Header Gasket replacement for pacesetters

Hey guys, so i ran into a snafu with the G8. went through a parking lot with one of those plastic triangle shaped bolt in sped bumbs and it ripped the stainless band right off of the header and cat back. after having the bands replaced which still leaked i decided just to have them welded. now it appears the header gasket is ripped and leaking pretty significantly right off of the head. I bought a set of stock fel pro gaskets from advanced but unless im mistaken it doesnt appear they would be the correct size. when measured they come up to 1 7/8" which i find hard to believe the stock exhaust manifold would be bigger than the long tubes but what do i know. will the stock fel pro replacement in fact work with the pace setter longtubes or should i return them and order a replacement gasket from somewhere else? Thanks in advance

They should. Try them first and if they don't work out go with the Kooks.

When I went to Kooks LT’s years back I reused my stock gaskets. Word on the street at that time is they were the best choice. Have ever had a problem.

things are not as they appear to be.........
