I begged, and pleaded and finally... C.U. Discount on GXP's

I have been bugging the big guy since these GXP's rolled in about pricing. I dont like being that dealer trying to hoard cars so he finally caved in today. He will allow me to sell them for the Credit Union Discount price to C.U. members... Prices are updated to reflect the C.U prices after the rebates.

37,038.43 + TTL = 39,620.03 drive out

Hi Nino,

Does the liquid red have a roof? Do you know of any SRMs coming your way with manual and a roof? Any interest on a trade for a 2000 Formula/TA?

Thanks,
Eric

So that's MSRP +$500, less rebates. Is that a change from your previous pricing strategies?

VQ35DE : Not anymore. Sorry

erkki : Yes it does.

lusluckylad : MSRP minus the rebates. They are keeping the dealer cash. When compared to the Invoice price which is 800 less than MSRP it is not like we are gouging anyone, plus we actually have begun to buy out dealers for Pontiacs and are paying Invoice for them ourselves...

Not trying to stir the pot, but that's for sure. I've got the same $$$ in Red and I can't see any of these GXP's being anywhere near to keeping up. But you never know.

Bear in mind, folks, msrp for a GXP may start at $38,360 (before GGT) but consider that the Hyundai Genesis starts at $37,250 for a V8 WITHOUT bluetooth and XM and they charge 4 extra large (yes, $4,000) for the only package that includes those items, making a V8 Genesis higher priced than every GXP !!!!! Max msrp GXP= $41,655, max msrp Genesis $42,000

Its just a matter of what the differences are worth to you.

A loaded GT at 5100 off is 29,895.00 + TTL

A equal auto GXP at MSRP minus 3k is 37,890.00

Thats a 7995 difference for...

Brembos
6.2l Higher rev limit, more potential overall. 60+hp over a GT ATW stock from what I saw at a dyno day
Suspension upgrade
Wheels
Front and rear fascia
Plus all the little things... Steering wheel etc...

Its all about what you want.

Look at the guy that buys a Z06 over a standard C6. Can the C6 be upgraded to better than Z06 performance for less than the difference? Sure. But it still isn't a Z06.

but keep in mind that tax on a 29.8k car and a 37.8k car are different... here it's 8.5% which translates into an additional $800

OTD prices on a GT with just Premium was $30k and OTD on a GXP auto with sunroof (my dad was interested) was 39k... the gxp was quoted under March's incentives and the GT was quoted under April's... in the end we're looking at 9k difference between the two, however they both qualify for the new $500 off either model... my price comparison in my previous post was comparing the GT price i was quoted locally to your price on a GXP(6m only)...

Tax should be deductible on your income taxes this year due to the new policy implemented so that would help mitigate it.

just bought a 09' GXP

Just bought an 09' 6-speed manual with sunrood with onyx/red interior, 6 disk CD changer with Premium Package. Used my military discount(-3k), GM card discound(-1.5k), Deployment discount(-1k), and rebate(-3k) with a Trade in(-3k) and a (5k) down payment, ended up financing $16,500

not a bad deal at all.
