08 IO g8 gt fair trade??

Ok we are in need of a bigger truck like an SUV with third row and I'm thinking I may have to trade my wifes car since we cant seem to sale it locally and everywhere we go we are looking at 15k trade in does that sound about right? Has 59k miles all stock , no issues what so ever ...have these cars come down that much that I'm even being offered like 17500 by locals.

KBB priced it at :

Excellent - $16,579
Very Good - $16,279
Good - $15,629
Fair - $14,029

So $15k seems on the low side. Have you tried listing it here or other forums?

Everywhere I looked prices seem to be around 20k obo so I listed it on craigslist and lowered it to 18k but no luck..had a guy that wanted to come today from Dallas but just got a call saying he changed his mind so i think we r just going to keep it longer. In no hurry I just thought 18k was a fair price but guess not. I rather keep it.

I've been looking into trading mine in lately as well. The highest I've been offered is 15.5k so that sounds right for a dealer. Should be able to get 17 or 18 private party no problem I would think. I bought my GT in March with 49,000 miles for 20k from a dealer.

I bought mine recently for $19,500 and it has 70k. $15k is kinda low for the miles you have I think

No prob. I don't think you'll have an issue getting $18k that's still pretty low compared to what dealers are asking around me. There's an 09 with 62k and their asking $26k

Ugh if I was in the market for a G8, yours would be in my driveway. Love an IOM. I think your price is reasonable. The market is kinda in a lull right now. Wait until the SS comes out and I think the values will pick back up when people realize its nearly identical and much cheaper.

I think the fact that it's IOM is more significant than being an "888" car (at least it would be to me - being one of the first 888 cars produced means nothing, in my opinion). That's not a common colour, and it was sort of the "halo" colour for the car. I think $18k is a fair price, so hopefully it worked out for you!
