How much should I expect for my GT?

2009.0 GT with 27,000 miles. All stock except for white sidelights. Front brakes replaced within 5,000 miles. Garage kept and lovingly cared for. Front bumper was repainted when I bought the car from a Pontiac Dealership. Powertrain warranty expires 12/29/2014.

What's fair market value, with adequate exposure (45 days) listed on cars.com/autotrader.com and this site?

Many thanks.

20 to 21? That is very low miles. What options does it have?

2009 SBM GT bone stock
2008 TBSS almost stock
2008 GMC CCSB LMM far from stock

Depending on the options, I would say around 22.5-23

If you willing to sit on it for awhile, $23k-$24k, if you're wanting to sell it fast, $20k-$21k. The low mileage should persuade a lot of buyers. I just bought my GT for $20,0xx with 45k miles on it. I really got lucky, seeing that all of them but one were more expensive than mine. I saw mine on Autotrader. From what I saw {on Autotrader} I would sell for $22.5k if I were you. That way you're right under all the dealership prices.

Mainly depends on the options the car has if its a base GT, then 20 range, only because it has low miles but people still want most the options. An optioned car with your low miles is 22k range I would say.

Not necessarily, mine has everything but a sunroof and it was $20,0xx with 45k miles. I bought mine from a dealership.

The low miles and remaining warranty may give him a slight boost.

You may be able to get 24k. I bought mine in Oct 2013 in similar condition, other than it had a couple door dings so I got him down to 23k, plus winter was coming so he was looking to move it. The extended warranty was a big selling point.

I bought mine in Windsor last year for 19,000.00 with a sunroof & it was in excellent condition. The warranty expired in February of this year. It had 38,500 miles, I had to put new tires on it. So I think 21,000.00 would be tops. But I am not sure what the market is like where you live.

Forgot to note that at $23k, the seller still had 2 other back up offers that called after I did, seems like he got calls locally and from a fair distance away. .

I think 23k is a stretch, yes it still has a little warranty on it but not enough. Did you see the back up offers or did he just say he had them.

I have my 09 MGM with premium and red/onyx leather with 62k miles listed at $19,900 and have had one lowball offer of $16k. A dealership will give me $17k. These cars are hard to price it seems.

Geez. The 2009s are worth quite a bit more. My 2008 went for $15k with 69,000 miles. The dealer offered $11k trade-in. I had a few lowballs at $13-14k, and no movement at $16k.

Demographics seem to play a role in it too. Assuming yours is a GT, $11,000 trade seems awfully low. I just checked NADA and average trade in is $14,150 in my zip code. This is assuming a mid-level GT. An 09 with all else equal is $16,225. I see these things priced all over the place, some people think they're worth a mint, and some don't place much value on them. Just recently on Autotrader one crazy dealer had a base V6 with like 50k miles listed at $23k.

As others have mentioned, really depends on your area. Get on crsigslist and see what others are going for in your area. That car around where I live cmight get 23/24 from the right buyer.

wow, that is pretty good! I have been working on looking for a buyer/trade in for weeks. Carmax threw 13 at me. Sure i took it in dirty and it has 87k but I still felt like that was a little low.

I put mine on Ebay this week and hope to move it before bad weather as I've run out of garage space. Love the car but my Jeep has become my primary dd. I hope to get $22.5 for it when all is said and done.
