If you plan to mod it, I wouldnt bother.

But I'm the Type that doesn't ever buy the extended warranties

Late to the party but I noticed this rarely gets mentioned in these conversations:

I would like to see someone get warranty after headers, cam, tune, supercharge etc.

Well, I would argue the example that say you had the warranty, then did all the work you described, then the stock water pump goes out.

Yeah sure you did all these other mods but a water pump is a water pump; they'd need to warranty it or PROVE that somehow all that other stuff didn't cause it...

I mean it's one thing to put a blower on it then try and warranty a rear diff or some internal engine part.
