A Good Buy?

Ever since I owned a Grand Prix in high school and seeing the G8's get released with their super motors shortly after, I've wanted one. The only problem is, I wasn't ever able to afford one until I got my current job last year. So needless to say, a G8 GXP has been my realistic dream car (GT-R is out of my range for a while haha), but I've been highly considering a GT.

I made the mistake of buying a Scion tC with 75K miles last summer as a 2 year car or so to save up and buy a G8. But now I have some saved up and ready to buy one. The tC is nice for the price and gas mileage, but has me begging for more when it comes to power and fun.

Basically, I was in a minor accident ($600, insured, his fault) a couple weeks ago in the tC which has me wanting to get a new car before I put too many more miles on it.
I'm itching to get my tC back from the auto body shop so I can start looking and getting quotes.

Now that I can afford a vehicle in the 19-22'ish range easy, it's time to retire the tC and move on to a real car. I really wanted black but the only black ones around me have high miles or no sun roof.

However, seeing some of the red ones on this board has me leaning towards Liquid Red. I've found this one that matches my desires (low miles, sun roof).

My question is, with everyone's experience, how low do you think I can get this one down to? I have cash to put down to get it into my price range, but I'm going to negotiate it as much as I can.

You really need that low of mileage? Do a KBB retail and trade in values to see what type of markup the dealer is working with?

I thought 75K wasn't bad (my Grand Prix was up to 150K when I handed it down) until it kept going up lol.

I want low mileage so I'll know about all the maintenance and such as early on as possible. I've seen a black one around me with 34K miles that had exactly what I want @ 22K.

The KBB shows they're basically at the expected price right now, so the markup probably isn't much? But I'm willing to put some down.

What's a good mileage to still consider on the G8's? Surfing the board, I've seen even in the 40-50K's.

+ Sun roof
+ Leather seats (and the red interior!)
+ Magnetic Grey
+ Good CarFax
+ $3K cheaper then original posted link

- 20K more miles then original posted link

The 20K more miles on this means almost 2 years of my driving. That's the only killer.

I capped my mileage at 30k during my search. But since these cars are 08 and 09, you're going to see G8s with 25-40k. I ended up with one with 40k but I got it for thousands less than normal market. $19,500 was too good to pass up. I had to give up the sunroof and sport package but I didn't care that much for the sport 19s as I'll use the 18s with winter tires.
