Something evil this way comes

First disregard my screen name, I only have a GT.

The orders are placed. Kooks LTH - Solo custom mid-pipe with HFC - Solo Mach Shorty Balanced.

Yes I woosed out and ordered the balanced. I can always tell the girlfriend, " hey, it's not the loudest they make"

Once I have the headers and the Solo parts are built I will be making the drive to Buffalo for the install. The wait is now killing me. Sometime in April will be like Christmas.

I blame this all on JEC after listening to his car and Solo for "saving" me money by just getting the whole header thing out of the way this year instead of next.

I know how you feel- I have an April 3rd appointment in Buffalo for the installation of the Mach Shorty Balanced, GXP Diffuser, and 3.5" tips. I feel like a little kid waiting for Santa!

Never been so excited to get to Buffalo and it didn't include the casino or Canadian Ballet . . .

So I will probably spend the weekend up there with my girlfriend. I was thinking about going to the Falls. Anything else to check out?

Honestly, other than Mufflerman, there's nothing really to do in Buffalo. lol

You could check out the "Galleria Mall" in Cheektowaga, it's on the way (okay, it's ever so slightly ~4-5miles~ out of the way) towards the ride home, they have some awesome restaurants in there and it's a two story mall. There's also an apple store in there, if you're into that sorta thing. Not like after getting your solo system installed you have any extra money to spend... but it's a good "date night" type of mall, as far as the restaurants are concerned, with your significant other if you have one.

The ride home will be amazing. Be sure to pay EXTRA attention beforehand, on the ride TO Mufflerman... as the lazy quietness that you're used to, will be quite different than the entire ride home and from then on.

The guys in the Buffalo shop are top notch, very cool to see so many people planning the drive. And my first ever SOLO purchase was installed in the Buffalo shop way back in Thanksgiving 2009!

I would go up the Falls if you have your passport go to the Canadian side. On Canada's side there are two Casino's with hotels attached. The newer one is called "Fallsview" it has some nice stores in it as well. The first one that opened is called "Niagara Falls Casino"- I would try and see if there are any shows (that you want to see) playing the weekend you are there.
If you don't have your passport I would try the same thing at the casino on the American side (Seneca Niagara Casino) and see what shows they have playing. Of course you can always gamble, and go see the falls.

I already have the PM-FL axle-backs on the car now so it is not dead quiet, but nothing close the roar I expect to have afterwards.

We don't have our passports yet, so I'm figuring it will just be the US side of the falls this trip. While the strip clubs sound like a lot of fun, thinking she would not like that much. I figure I will have to rent a car for 1 day while the exhaust is getting installed. While I would love to watch the entire install process, I am not so sure she would not be bored out of her mind.

Drop her off at the mall. We spent half a day over there, and they were just installing some axlebacks! Very cool guys though, have them walk you through the shop and all the exhaust systems. Cool stuff. Try and get a t-shirt too. They are nice!

Something Evil this way has arrived.
This will be short as I'm exhausted from getting up at 4:00 AM to make the drive to Buffalo.
FREAKING AWESOME, from all the guys at the shop to the product, to the sound.
My drone is gone and replaced with the beautiful sound of power.
I can feel the car has a lot more grunt. Waiting on my updated tune. No chance to try it out as the rain was coming down hard.
Met zepcom, real nice guy.
Oh, my girlfriend came on the trip with me, she also approves of the sound. Again, NO DRONE!

Good luck with the ride and enjoy the music. BTW, I never got a t-shirt or a sticker. I would really like a sticker for my lawn tractor. I put any stickers I get on my lawn tractor just to intimidate other lawn tractors.

Updates since I am home.
Trip home was very good, took the "scenic" route and stopped at "Earl's Drive in" in Chaffee NY.
Again I want to say just how professional the entire crew is at Mufflerman, they truly enjoy their job and it shows.
The sound. I had the PM-FL axle-backs on my car prior. They gave the car a nice rumble and did sound good at WOT. The only drawback them was drone in the car. The new system has no drone. Yes you can hear the headers under load, but if you have the stereo on at 7, there is no noise. I had both rain and SNOW showers off and on for most of the drive home, so I was taking it a little easy. I am also waiting for my updated tune as I'm sure I am probably running a little lean. I have not tested that though. I did give a brief 5-7 second WOT blast right before I got home. I was laughing at the sounds it made. I could not wipe the smile off my face. Girlfriend asked if I then needed to change my shorts. This was with the windows up and the sunroof in vent mode, but the shade closed. I barely can wait to hear it with the windows down. Under normal driving conditions it really is much quieter in the car then before. Still trying to figure how. I did remote start the car this morning at the hotel and startled an older lady. She kinda of screamed and then saw me and just laughed and smiled. Her husband had a puzzeld look on his face.
I will totally agree with Solo when they say you can adjust how loud with the throttle. It is really scary how quiet the car can be.
Thanks Solo,
A very happy customer!!!!!!
PS, where is my shirt????
