Smile faster 0-60, manual or sport mode?

i have a v6 g8, and in fooling around in manual mode with me shifting, the car feels faster. i don't know if its just an illusion from me feeling cooler because i'm shifting, or if it actually is.

edmunds and some other sites say the v6 0-60 time is around 7 seconds, do they achieve that in sport mode or manual mode do ya think?

and...which do you think is quicker, sport mode or manual mode? (assuming you shift at about the same rpm sport mode shifts)

yeah then sport mode it is. however it is fun to downshift and slam on the gas i feel like it reacts a little quicker than sport mode would if i floored it but overall sport mode being quicker makes sense.

I almost always drive in manual. Both V6 and V8. It's just more fun around town. The GT is more fun because of the rev matching which the V6 doesnt have.

How do you do it? I don't even touch it because I'm afraid I'll grind the gears.
