Front Suspension

While im driving and press on the brakes for a Stop, My steering wheel begans to shake when I slow down, I'm not sure if its the LCA, I changed the front lower rearward control arms from both sides, should i change the front lower forward as well ? Would this be the problem ?

Have you check your pads and rotors? Mine would do that too, but I had the rotors resurfaced and it stopped. But it's slowly starting to come back since I didn't change the pads.

Barely changed the pads, but at the time the rotors were fine, you think it haves nothing to do with the control arms?

Do you hear any clunking noise when going over rough pavement or noise coming from the front end when cornering? If not, I go with beto_juice's suggestion regarding warped rotors, especially if it only happens when braking and assuming there isn't any noise. I had the LCA's go on my 95 BMW 318is beater and I would start getting vibration around 65 MPH and a clunking noise at low speeds on rough roads.

Did you change just front rotors or rears as well?

I usually resurface rotors when throwing pads on. That way everything is smooth. I did the rears too because the uneven rotors would make my whole car shake

I've never had any luck resurfacing rotors, rotors/pads are all disposable parts when I get my brakes done. Toss everything start from new IMHO.

Agreed on the rotors. Easy cheap fix.

The lower control arms are known to go out on our cars frequently due to design and weight of the vehicle, but I'd be willing to bet it's rotors. I had the vibration you're describing. I had the popping noise from the lower control arms and they needed replaced. Since my brakes were bad too, I ended up replacing my rotors and pads before doing the controls arms. After replacing the rotors and pads, the vibration was gone.

Bad control arms could make your tires wear prematurely too. Take your hand on the inner side top of the tire and run it in the opposite direction of forward rotation. If it feels like fish scales or rubber is catching your hand, your LCAs may be the issue.

If you end up replacing the rotors and pads, I'd suggest looking at http://brakeperformance.com/ A lot of their products are guaranteed for the life of the product. I got all four drilled/slotted with pads for about $400 on special. I put them on myself and was simple. I saved a ton of money.
