Brake Light

Can anyone help me out ? I changed my brakes and rotors and even bleedid the brakes on my G8. The car stops perfectly fine and has brake fluid but the brake light stays on

There is a recall for that issue, you may want to check into that.

If that's the issue you need to have the brake position sensor re-calibrated.

There's probably more info in the recall forum

That's always a good idea, but if it is a calibration issue, I don't think it will throw a code.

That light can illuminate 3 ways. #1--- Parking brake switch faulty (doubtful). #2---- EBD source (Electronic Brake Distribution). You would *not want* that to be the problem. #3--- Your master brake cylinder has an internal *low level* sensor in the fluid reservoir. It could be faulty, or hopefully you need to add more brake fluid to it. That may correct that sensor from seeing or sensing a low fluid level in that reservoir (even if it doesn't appear to be low).
