Hi Everyone,

Im looking at buying a g8 v6 with 114k km. What are some common issues and is there anything specific I should be looking for when I check it out? Here is the ad:

Check for steering wheel shake at highway speeds.

Gone but not forgotten: 2009 Pontiac G8 GT, White Hot, Premium, Sport. Tune is "Down Under" by Men At Work.

I'd hold out for a GT just because the timing chain repair is basically as time consuming as a cam swap to eliminate the AFM/DOD. But if you can find a V6 that has already had the timing chain replaced then it would be worth the look.

2009.5 SBM GT: Lots of show with some go.
The garage queen.

2008 IOM GT: Some go, working on the show.
The daily driver.

2004 Blazer Xtreme: Lots of go.
Sold and will be missed.
