I'm having similar issues with the G8, do you know whether or not the throttle body is covered under the power-train portion of General Motors warranty???

Are you guys running cold air intakes? Any air filter that requires oiling can cause issues to the MAF sensor, throttle body and anything else back.

Yes, a CAI with an oiled filter, but the CAI didn't have anything to do with my issues, see here for results: https://www.g8board.com/forums/showthread.php?t=55920.
