Wink TOP speed of g8 base without limiter?

ive read around these forums that the g8s have limiter at 137 mph. what do you guys think the top speed of the base g8 would be without this limiter? my little c-class mercedes with a 2.5 v6 got up to 145 easily and it could have kept going if i didnt wimp out. so i'd assume the 3.6 v6 could go above 145?

One of you V6 guys should try to set the bar for top speed. Get er' up to about 140 and have a 50 shot to push it on up to 150!

2.5 V6 C-Class? How bout 3.0 straight 6 or 4cyl turbo? The C300 is pretty peppy and the C350 is flat out quick. Not sure about the C250's though.

i would have to crunch my numbers for the v6 but for the gt stock with limiter is 137mph and without you can get her up to 182. If you do 2 mods camaro 3.45 rear diff. and cam and i can get her up to 205 mph, but i would suggest lowering her and adding a spoiler, with those 2 she dosnt shake at all at high speeds. fast i have gone was 173 mph- road was 3/4 mile long on a two lane highway before a right bend and it felt like she has a 7th gear after you hit 150mph.

Mods: HID's, New Engine, New Tune, VCM OTR CAI, 1 7/8 ARH to Solo exhaust, Spoiler, Gxp rear defuser, Custom Sound System, Suspension, Brakes, and lowered.

G8board nor any in the autoguide family condones reckless driving on public roads.
I encourage everyone attempting something like this on a closed course and proper safety measures in place.
