supercharger for your v6?

if you want more ponies and wanna keep your v6 i read an article in GMHTP a few months back that i thought was pretty interesting:
http://www.gmhightechperformance.com...l/viewall.html

here is the kit, wonder if there is one available for the g8's of if this could be made to fit, seeing as they are similar:

I know the LTT is DI whereas our L67 isn't. I don't know if that makes or breaks an install of this caliber but I'll let others chime in.

This mod could apply to the VE Series II Commodore, I imagine, which has the LTT V6.

Pity that the G8 didn't get the LTT...

aside from maybe tweaking the fuel system side of this cant see how itd be detrimental(not sure if there was any adjustment, but lets say it needs a boost-a-pump... no biggy)

DI is more in depth from a tuning perspective, having to consider fuel lobes on the DI high pressure rail/fuel pump being a non issue on the g8 6 cyl. cars.

not sure what the factory injectors on the g8 v6 are rated too either but worst case scenario arent they uscar type injectors?(forgive me if i'm wrong i'm not overly up on the 6 cyl)

Just saw they make a v6 sts kit. Not a big fan of their design but cool that y'all have that option. For no more than they cost surprised there aren't a few custom fabbed kits on here.

The 6 and the Y keys are close to each other on the keyboard.

I know the owner of this V6 supercharged Camaro. He said that it will out run a stock SS Camaro.

When he showed me the article, I noticed the stock intake manifold, and with the issues GM has had in the past with plastic intakes, he said he is keeping a close eye on it to make sure it doesn't crack. He told me that the boost was limited to 8 psi, but also mentioned that the additional horsepower cannot be handled by the stock V6 clutch.

It does appear that he has a sleeper.

It is actually my car and the clutch is getting made now, will test the prototype soon, hopefully for the fall edition of Camaro Now. It has been flawless for over 7000 miles so far other than the clutch is getting weak. high 12 in the 1/4, traction and clutch limited. Setting it up to carve the road course now. Full 1LE suspension with some aftermarket upgrades too....

Call RAM clutch company. I have had the clutch now for a year and it has been perfect. Hard use on the strip and road course with no slippage and engagement is great. no idea on the fitment, but if it works it is a great way to go.
